Hi, my name is Sean Hanrahan, I am a personal trainer and recreational running coach, and most importantly, a very passionate runner. Running is the simplest way to exercise and increase your fitness levels, just purchase a comfortable pair of running trainers and some sportswear, and you’re ready to go.
It can be done anywhere, anytime, in a group or on your own. The important part is knowing how to make the most out of your training schedule and how to improve your running and get the best improvements to meet your goals.
At Running 4 Happiness Project my aim is to help you achieve and improve your running and fitness goals. Whether that’s getting you into shape for your first 5km, stepping up to your next big distance or setting a new personal best you have been chasing. Maybe something more serious, like eating healthier, losing weight, increasing strength, or just wanting to look and feel amazing through fitness, together we can get there.
Improving your running and choosing the most effective training plan can be challenging, especially when there are many generic plans available on the Internet. The real beauty of training is knowing what works best for you and how it will improve your chosen goals.
There are so many different types of training that can be utilised, including speed, trail, core and flexibility, strength & conditioning, progression runs, and the list goes on. This is where I can help you. By working to your needs and designing a personalised plan, I can help you achieve your chosen goals and help you go on to more prominent and extensive adventures.
My approach to fitness is a little different from many personal trainers. Before we even take the first step together or lift the first weight; I work extremely hard in getting to know my clients.
Only by fully understanding their goals and aspirations can I set about designing a tailored made program that will not only deliver the results they’re looking for but give them the confidence to go on and face more significant challenges.
It’s also different when it comes to setting schedules; we are all busy people, and the work-life balance is challenging to juggle at the best of times. So I design all my programs and training sessions to fit in with your busy lifestyle.
